JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, MORBID ANGEL, MALMSTEEN: Photos From GODS OF METAL Available

Italian news blog Musica Metal has uploaded photos from the third day of the three-day Gods Of Metal festival, which was held June 27-29 in Bologna, Italy. Pictures of live performances by JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, MORBID ANGEL, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ENSLAVED and OBITUARY can be viewed at this location.

According to Musica Metal, the day was opened by FRATELLO METALLO, a real Monk who loves metal and uses his band to spread his religious message of (protected) sex, no drugs no alcohol, and heavy metal.

It was definitely an odd day for Tim "Ripper" Owens, who, as vocalist with YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, played on the bill right before ICED EARTH and JUDAS PRIEST, his two former bands. This JUDAS PRIEST-headlined day drew considerably less fans than in the previous two days of festival, but the crowd was so enthusiastic that it was acknowledged by every band on the stage.
